Mainly hot, dry weather expected in most parts of country
Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted hot and dry weather in most parts of the country while very hot in Sindh, south Punjab and Balochistan during the next 24 hours, Dunya News reported.
The Met Office said that seasonal Low lies over North Balochistan. Weak moist currents are penetrating northeastern parts of the country. Mainly hot and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country during the next 24 hours. However, rain wind-thunderstorm is expected in northeast Punjab, Kashmir and adjoining areas.
Meanwhile, hot and dry weather prevailed over most parts of country, while very hot in central and southern parts during the past 24 hours. However, rain-thunderstorm occurred in Sialkot, Narowal and Lahore. Mohenjodaro remained the hottest place in the country where temperature surged up to 47°C.
